Emergency Plan:
If the rescue squad or fire department has to be called.
Call 911 and state your emergency. It is imperative that you have as much information as you can to answer all of their questions.
Call the emergency contact person in the community.
That person can than:
Call dispatch 304-822-6000 – tell them your name, what you are driving and you are waiting at the entrance to guide an ambulance/fire truck to the emergency.
Get to the entrance as quickly as possible.
Some of these vehicles cannot drive fast on some of the roads – take your time – stay calm – guide them.
As you approach the driveway, roll down your window and point to the driveway. Drive past the driveway, so you are out of the way. Pull into the driveway – park out of the way – leave if not needed – or stay to guide the ambulance back out of the community. Remember stay out of the way – let them do their job. Help if you are needed
Having a few people in place that will guide emergency workers could be the saving factor for you and your love ones.
